Office Tables for Boardrooms, Meeting Rooms & Breakout Spaces
At iQ Workspace, we supply, deliver and install office tables for every part of the workspace, from formal boardroom tables that anchor a client-facing meeting room, to lightweight flip-top tables that turn a training room into a breakout space in minutes.
Every table is sourced from manufacturers we already work with on the desk and seating side of a project, including Narbutas, Quadrifoglio and Elite, so finishes can be matched across your whole office.
We work across Norwich, East Anglia and further afield, supplying a single table for one meeting room through to full boardroom and breakout fit-outs. Browse the range below, or read on for help choosing the right type, size and finish.
Which Type of Office Table do You Need?
Our range covers five distinct categories, each doing a different job:
- Office Tables serve various purposes, primarily for meetings and projects. They are mid-sized, practical, and suitable for smaller meeting rooms, project rooms, or team spaces where a solid table is needed without the formality of a boardroom.
- Flip-top Office Tables can be folded flat and moved on casters, allowing for quick reconfiguration of training rooms, multipurpose spaces, or overflow meeting areas. Several tables can be linked together to create a longer bench for training days and then easily folded away afterwards.
- High Office Tables are designed at standing or bar height for informal, stand-up collaboration. They are ideal for quick catch-ups, breakout conversations, or areas near coffee points where people tend to gather without settling in for long meetings.
- Boardroom & Conference Tables are intended for formal, client-facing meetings. They have larger footprints and feature premium veneer or laminate finishes. These tables often come with integrated power and data modules to keep cables out of sight. Stability and quality finish are crucial for these tables, as they create a first impression for clients.
- Coffee & Occasion Tables are low-height tables meant for breakout and soft-seating areas. They are designed to complement sofas and lounge chairs rather than serve as a functional work surface.
How to Choose the Right Table?
- Seating capacity and shape: Allow 600–700mm of table edge per person. A typical 8-person boardroom table is about 2400 × 1100mm, while one for 12–14 people is around 3600 × 1200mm. Different shapes (rectangular, boat, racetrack) affect seating; our space planning team can help determine the best fit.
- Power and cable management: Integrated power and USB modules are essential for boardrooms, keeping laptops charged without messy cables. Our accessories include both new and retrofittable power options.
- Fixed vs flexible: A boardroom table is a permanent fixture for dedicated use. For spaces with multiple purposes such as training or overflow meetings, a flip-top or mobile table is more versatile than a fixed one.

Frequently Asked Questions
As a guide, allow roughly 600–700mm of table edge per person for comfortable seating, plus extra space at each end if you're including a head-of-table position. For a typical 8-person boardroom, you're looking at a table around 2400mm x 1100mm; for 12–14 people, closer to 3600mm x 1200mm. Every room is different, though our team can measure your space and recommend the exact size and shape as part of a free consultation.
Yes. Our flip-top and nesting tables are designed for training rooms, multipurpose spaces and any environment where the layout needs to change quickly; fold them away for extra floor space, or link several together to create a longer training or conference bench. They move on castors and don't need any tools to reconfigure.
We can specify boardroom and meeting tables with integrated power, USB and data modules built into the tabletop, so cables aren't trailing across the room. Our accessories range also includes table power modules that can be retrofitted to an existing table if you're not replacing it entirely.
In most cases, yes. Our table ranges come in a wide choice of veneers, laminates and frame colours, and where brand consistency matters, matching an existing desk range or working to a corporate colour palette, our team can advise on the closest available finish or source a bespoke option.
